Perform without burning out

You invest in your career and your family, but your body decides how much you can handle. More energy, sharper thinking and faster recovery from stress start with a body that cooperates. A fitter body is the consequence; performing is the goal.

Your ambition outruns your energy

Your calendar is full and you want to move forward, only your body does not follow. By noon you run on willpower and in the evening nothing is left for the people who matter to you.

You sit your days away

The average Fleming sits almost nine hours a day, according to Gezond Leven. A body that stands still that long becomes stiff and slow. You feel it in your focus, your posture and your mood.

Stress has no outlet

More than a third of Flemish employees report work stress complaints and among the self-employed the figure is even higher (SERV, 2023). Tension that has nowhere to go during the day, you carry home and into bed.

De Bouwmethode

How we tackle it

Performing is physical: your concentration, your stress resilience and your work capacity all run on the same body that currently sits on the bench. That is why we build all four building blocks at once: strength training that makes you resilient, nutrition that keeps your blood sugar and therefore your afternoons stable, sleep that lets your brain truly recover and lifestyle that gives stress an outlet. How heavily sleep alone weighs was shown by a randomised sleep experiment (Van Dongen, 2003): fourteen nights of six hours produced the same cognitive decline as two nights without any sleep, while participants barely noticed it themselves.

The plan is built on your calendar instead of on an ideal week you do not have: two focused workouts, meals that fit a working day and small habits that break up your sitting hours. Abdellatif was spent after half a working day and now powers through full days; the 60-year-old manager regained strength, stability and energy in two months. That same system we set up on your week.

Video testimonial

“I used to be completely spent after half a day of work. Now I get through a full, busy workday and I am still fine afterwards.”

Abdellatif, 39 · self-employed
★★★★★

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

I do not really have time for this. How much does it take?
Two focused sessions per week are enough and the nutrition and sleep work happens inside your existing day. Lack of time is by far the number one barrier in Flanders (Prevention Barometer 2022), so the system is built around it. Whoever works sharper and recovers faster wins those hours back twice over.
How fast will I notice it at work?
Most clients feel a difference in energy and focus within two to four weeks. Even small interventions count: a fifteen-minute lunchtime walk already gave office workers measurably better concentration and less afternoon fatigue (Sianoja, 2018). The full turnaround, as with Abdellatif, is the work of months.
Do I have to become an athlete to benefit?
No. The biggest gains are in the first steps: from zero to two workouts, from irregular to fixed nights, from rushing through to real breaks. The 60-year-old manager moved stiffly and painfully for years; two months of targeted training gave him back strength and energy. Your starting point sets the base, your calendar is the building ground.
