Get stronger, for real life

Strength is the foundation of everything: energy, posture, confidence and healthy ageing. And strength is built with a plan, not with random workouts.

Sound familiar?

You have lifted the same weights for months

Without progressive overload your strength stays where it is. Progress is a design choice, not a coincidence.

You avoid the free weights

Without someone setting your technique, you stay stuck on machines and light weights. Yet the basic lifts deliver the biggest gains.

Strength feels like something for twenty-somethings

Wrong: especially after forty, strength is your most important insurance against losing muscle, bone density and independence.

De Bouwmethode

How we tackle it

Getting stronger starts with technique: I am literally next to you (or watching via video) until your posture, breathing and execution are right. On that we build progressively: every week a reason for your body to get stronger.

Nutrition with enough protein and sleep that carries your recovery make the difference between training and progressing. Strength, circumference and energy are measured, so you see in black and white what is changing.

2 months

Manager, 60 · regained strength, mobility and energy

This 60-year-old had lived for years with stiff, painful muscles from sitting a lot and moving little. This is what two months of targeted training does: from stiff and painful movement to control, stability and strength.

★★★★★

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

I have never been sporty. Can I get stronger?
Yes — that is exactly where the gains are biggest. The 60-year-old manager in the video above moved stiffly and painfully for years; two months of targeted training gave him back control, stability and strength.
How often do I need to train to get stronger?
Two focused sessions per week are enough to progress for months. The plan determines the gain, not the number of hours.
Isn't heavy lifting dangerous for my back?
Uncoached technique is the risk, not the weight. Properly built strength training is precisely the best protection for your back. Ask Paul, who rebuilt after several hernia operations.
