Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to function, remember preferences or measure usage. Similar techniques such as your browser's local storage are covered here too.
On your first visit I ask whether my CRM software may measure how you use the site. If you agree, that software sets a cookie and local storage with a random visitor number and records which pages you view and for how long. If you decline, nothing is loaded and I will not ask again. Anything else that can set cookies (the chat and the YouTube videos) only loads after you click it yourself. Fonts are served from my own domain and header videos come from my own video hosting.
My hosting partner may set a technical cookie to protect the site against abuse. The free health check saves your answers in your browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off. If you request your report, your answers and your result are sent to me, as explained in the privacy policy. If you take the check without requesting your report, everything stays on your device. If you start the chat or make a choice in the consent banner, your browser remembers that choice. This necessary storage requires no consent.
There is a chat button in the bottom right corner. My chat software only loads once you click it and start the chat. It then sets cookies to remember the conversation and recognise you when you return. The retention period is set by that software. If you do not start the chat, nothing is loaded.
The videos on the About and Contact pages are hosted on YouTube. You first see a still image served from my own domain. Only when you click play does YouTube (Google) load the video, in its privacy-enhanced mode without advertising cookies. Google may then use cookies or local storage according to its own policy: policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
The Discovery call page embeds Google's booking calendar. It loads as soon as you open that page, because booking is exactly what you came there for. Google may set cookies in the process according to its own policy. If you would rather book without it, email [email protected].
If you give your consent, my CRM software measures your visit: which pages, for how long, which link brought you here and the type of device. It links that to a random visitor number. If you later fill in a form, that number can be linked to your contact details, so I can see which pages you viewed beforehand. That helps me improve the site and my offer. Legal basis: your consent. The lifetime of the cookie is set by the software; the measurement data follows the retention periods in the privacy policy. You withdraw your consent at the bottom of this page.
Independently of that choice, I measure visitor numbers with a service that sets no cookies, keeps no IP addresses and does not track visitors across websites. I only see totals: how many visitors, which pages, from which country.
You can always delete or block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge: Settings, Privacy). To withdraw your consent for the chat: .
