A few years ago, I reached a point where I knew something had to change. After a period of setbacks, I suddenly saw three digits on the scale. I felt physically and mentally out of balance.
I ended up losing 20 kilograms. Not through crash dieting. Not through extreme schedules.
But through structure, small behavioral changes, and an approach that I could maintain.
That experience not only changed my body, but also my view on health.
from historian to personal trainer & coach
My background is in history. As a historian, you learn to analyze, recognize patterns, and understand systems. You learn to look beyond the surface and focus on underlying causes.
I apply that same way of thinking today in my coaching and personal training.
Results are never achieved by a single factor. Not in history. Not in health. They are achieved by a system that works.
That's why I look beyond just training. I analyze your habits, lifestyle, recovery, stress level, and context. Only when the full picture is clear do we build a plan that works.
no rapid transformations, but sustainable progress
Today, I help people in Maldegem, Maarkedal, and Ghent become stronger, fitter, and more energetic through a structured and sustainable approach.
Training is the driving force. But real change happens when exercise, nutrition, sleep, and stress are brought into balance.
Many people have already made several attempts to live healthier. They start motivated, but over time, they lose structure. Not due to a lack of discipline, but because they don't have a support system.
That's where the difference is made.
How a trajectory is constructed
Every program starts with a thorough analysis of your situation, goals, and any limitations. There's no standard program. No copy-paste schedule.
From there, we build step by step.
The personal training sessions are technically sound and progressively structured. Safety, quality, and correct execution are paramount. Whether you want to lose weight, build muscle mass, get stronger, or regain confidence in your body, the program is tailored to your level.
Beginners start in a controlled and safe manner. Advanced participants work with clear progression and measurable steps.
Structure with respect for your pace
What distinguishes this approach is the combination of clear structure and calm, respectful guidance.
No shouted motivation. No imposed rules. No extreme methods.
Just honest communication about what's needed to make progress.
We consciously work on small behavioral changes that have a big impact in the long run. Think of improving sleep quality, being more mindful of your nutrition, increasing your daily exercise, and targeted strength training. Integrated into your life step by step.
